Odyssey : On the Lands of Sam Neill in Lyon !!!!

Lyon is the capital city of the Cinema like Cannes, in the South. 

Indeed, It's here that Lumiere 's brothers shot the first movie and invented  The "Cinematograph".

Lumière 's Villa and Lumière 's Institute preserve glorious Memory of these precursors.

Every year, a Festival, The Lumiere 's Festival speaks about Cinema in the 8th district of the town, during second week of October and it is less known than Cannes.

Every year, the Festival "award a prize to " a Film-producer, actor or director, to recognize his work. The One who was chosen in 2015 is Martin Scorsese.

In parralel, the week of the Festival, reserves surprises to every cinema lover, collectors posters of movies are sold, books about different topic of the Cinema too, in the Villa Lumiere, old cameras are sold too, etc..........

To finish, the Lumiere's Villa preserves a library about Cinema, free to go at any moment. 

The Lumiere's penthouse projects movies at any moment of the year following a programme lay down in advance.
